How The Lagree Method Is Taking Extra Precautions During COVID-19

With more and more businesses opening back up since the outbreak of COVID-19, it can be an uncomfortable time as we begin to go back to life as normal. That is why we are taking extra measures for the safety of our employees and our clients at The Lagree Method in order to help ease that worry of getting back into public fitness classes and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Students are Six Feet Apart

The first measure we are taking is positioning all of our Megaformer machines to ensure our students maintain six feet of distance apart from one another during our Lagree fitness classes. This also limits the number of people we have in each class. The CDC recommends that everyone stay this distance from one another due to the fact that when you remain six feet apart, you greatly decrease your chances of breathing in the air of those around you, including potential coughs and sneezes. 

Masks are Mandatory

At The Lagree Method, we require that everyone who enters our doors wear a face mask and keep them on any time you are not on your Megaformer machine. All instructors and staff will also be required to keep their face mask on in our studio.

Thorough Sanitation

When you come into our studio for a Lagree fitness class, you can rest assured that your Megaformer machine and other equipment has been thoroughly cleaned with COVID-19 approved cleaners. We also regularly clean surfaces including the door, countertops, and so forth in order to prevent the spread of the virus. Our studio was built with as many hands-free options as possible, including hands-free sanitizing dispensers in multiple locations throughout our Dublin studio.

Temperature Checking

We ask that all Lagree fitness class attendees please wait in your car for 5 minutes before the start of class (we will open our doors to let you know when you can enter) and check-in at the front desk to have your temperature taken. If your temperature is over 99.9 degrees Fahrenheit, you will not be permitted to work out with us that day and will be refunded for your session. We also kindly ask that you do not attend class if you have had any symptoms of the coronavirus or have been around anyone who has in the last two weeks. Some of the common symptoms include:

 

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea
